The company is located in Xianning High-tech Zone. It is a subsidiary of China CSG Holding Co., Ltd. established in Hubei and its annual output is 500,000 tons.
Into the company's production workshop, a large glass furnace runs through the entire workshop, the furnace side is a variety of pipes. From the observation hole, it can be seen that the fire is raging and the temperature in the furnace reaches more than 1000 degrees Celsius. The workshop machines are noisy and they can't quite hear each other. There are non-stop workers walking around the workshop. Some people are under the pipeline and some are carrying debris. None of these employees wear earplugs and hard hats. The person in charge of the company accompanied by the inspection team did not wear a safety belt but did not wear a seat belt. "Do workers in the workshop do not need to wear a helmet?" asked the team members. "The company did not ask for it. A weather is so hot and it is inconvenient to wear it. Besides, there is no such requirement for glass factories in the world." The company staff answered. “Look at how these workers work under this dense pipeline. What to do if it hits it? It's better to be hot than to get hit and injured.†The team members said seriously.
During the inspection, the inspection team also found that all the risk points in the workshop, including the high-temperature observation hole, had no warning signs.
In addition, the company only has responsibility for safety production and has not established a responsibility system for safety production. The responsibility for safety production cannot replace the responsibility system. What surprises the steering group is that in the company's safety production responsibility book, the general manager and the safety officer assume the same responsibility for safety production.
The supervision team pointed out that the reason why the company committed these “low-level†mistakes in safety production management is related to the company’s incomplete safety management system and required it to rectify quickly.
