Oil and gas lubrication system for rolling bearings and transmissions features

Frequent replacement of the tensioning machine bearings results in a reduction in the effective production time of the continuous casting line and a decrease in productivity, which directly affects the improvement of production capacity. Equipment spare parts costs and maintenance costs have also increased. In order to solve this problem, the oil and gas lubrication transformation of the rolling bearing and transmission of the bloom continuous casting machine was carried out. After more than a year of production use, the project was successful in industrial applications.

The oil and gas lubrication system for rolling bearings and transmissions of billet continuous casting and straightening machine developed by the project has the following characteristics: (1) A two-phase flow of oil and gas is provided to bearings and transmissions of high and low speeds by a system. (2) Developed a special nozzle for oil and gas lubrication of the transmission chain. (3) It can transport high-level lubricants. (4) Computer monitoring of fuel supply and gas supply status can be achieved. (5) Improve the sealing performance of the bearing housing to prevent water and impurities from entering the bearing. (6) It is convenient to disassemble the piping when the single equipment is replaced. (7) The oil and gas lubrication system of each production line can be operated independently, either manually or remotely. In the development and transformation process of this project, using the modern numerical simulation and design tools such as finite element, a comprehensive analysis of the flow field, temperature field and stress field was applied to the application of oil and gas lubrication on rolling bearings.
