Greening helps purify the air. Trees play a vital role in absorbing harmful substances from the atmosphere, filtering pollutants, and improving air quality. Through photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen, which significantly reduces the levels of harmful gases in the surrounding area. Studies show that greenery can reduce harmful gases by 25%, odorous gases by 50%, and airborne bacteria by 21.7% to 79.3%.
According to research, every two hectares of broad-leaved forest can absorb 2 tons of carbon dioxide daily and release 0.73 tons of oxygen. Certain tree species such as Paulownia, poplar, eucalyptus, maple, weeping willow, boxwood, and others are particularly effective at absorbing carbon dioxide. Air quality inside pig houses is often much worse than outside. In sow areas, there can be up to 800-1000 bacteria per liter of air, while in fattening pens, the number is around 300-500 bacteria per liter. By introducing more greenery, farmers can significantly improve air quality, reduce disease risks, and create a healthier living environment for their pigs.
