In production, it must be emphasized that the safety performance of the product's grounding continuity, electrical strength, leakage current, etc. must be tested one by one. Each rice cooker must be tested for temperature limit and insulation value to ensure its safety and application. In the order contract, the product name specification, the use voltage, the main performance index, the sampling method, the statistics of the defect, and the identification of the qualified batch shall be indicated for inspection.

The rice cooker is a product that implements the import and export (safety) quality licensing system, and the foreign enterprise must obtain the import safety quality certificate issued by the State Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau according to regulations, and attach the corresponding mark on the product. It can be imported; domestic enterprises must obtain export quality license issued by the State Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to produce export products.

The inspection standards for rice cookers are: GB4706.6-95 "Special requirements for safe automatic rice cookers for household and similar electrical appliances", JB/T8308-95 "automatic rice cookers", the main inspection items are as follows:

1. Electrical insulation performance: The rice cooker should have sufficient electrical insulation. The insulation between the live part and the metal casing should be able to withstand the withstand voltage test of 50 Hz AC voltage (cold state 1500 V, hot state 1000 V) for 1 min. No breakdown or flashover occurs. The thermal insulation resistance should not be lower than 1MΩ.

2. Tide test: The tide test of rice cooker, in a constant temperature and humidity chamber with a temperature of 40±2°C and a relative humidity of 95±3%, under the condition of no condensation, after 48 hours of continuous placement, the tide The state insulation resistance should not be lower than 0.5MΩ. The tide withstand voltage should be able to withstand 1000V AC, lasting 1min, no breakdown or flashover phenomenon.

3. Grounding resistance: The rice cooker should have a grounding wire. The resistance from the end of the grounding wire to the exposed metal casing should not exceed 0.2Ω.

4. Temperature control performance: The temperature control component of the rice cooker should be able to accurately control the temperature to ensure that the cooking temperature works at 103±2 °C. The automatic insulation element should be used when the rice is cooked and cooled to 65 ± 5 °C. The insulation element should still work normally after 1000 hours at the working temperature.

5. Thermal efficiency: When testing indoors with an ambient air temperature of 23 ± 5 ° C, the thermal efficiency of the rice cooker should not be less than 70%. The test method is carried out in accordance with the methods specified in the standard.

6. Life: When using at rated voltage, the service life of rice cooker should not be less than 1000h.

7. Leakage current: The cold leakage current should not exceed 0.5mA, and the tidal leakage current should not exceed 1mA.

In addition, there are certain requirements for the power deviation of the rice cooker, the length, cross-sectional area and color of the power cord. The appearance quality of the rice cooker, the plating parts, the baking varnish, the surface quality of the enamel shell, etc. shall all meet the standard requirements.
