Introduction of two kinds of pesticides that can effectively control A.

In order to effectively control the *A. striata* population, engineers from Anhui Tianzhushan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. conducted field experiments in 2011 and 2012 at various locations including Tianzhu Temple, Mazu, Changgou, and Villa within Tianzhushan National Forest Park. The objective of the study was to identify the most effective pesticides for managing this pest. Four different chemical agents were selected for testing: 5% imidacloprid EC, 40% omethoate EC, 4.5% beta-cypermethrin EC, and 25% diflubenzuron suspension. These chemicals were applied using two different spraying methods, and the results were carefully analyzed to assess their efficacy. The findings revealed that the effectiveness of each pesticide was strongly correlated with the concentration used, with an R² value greater than 0.9, indicating a high degree of linearity. All four products demonstrated good control over *A. striata*, but there were noticeable differences in performance depending on the concentration. Based on the test outcomes, 5% imidacloprid EC, which has systemic absorption properties, and 40% omethoate EC diluted at a ratio of 1500 times, showed the best results. As a result, the China National Pesticides Network recommends the use of 5% imidacloprid EC and 40% omethoate EC (diluted 1500 times) for the prevention and control of *A. striata*. These formulations not only offer strong efficacy but also provide a balanced approach in terms of cost and environmental impact, making them ideal choices for integrated pest management strategies in forested areas. It is important to follow recommended application guidelines to ensure both safety and effectiveness when using these pesticides.
