The third session of the Third Council Enlarged Meeting of the China Machinery Industry Metal Cutting Tool Technology Association, commonly known as the China Knife Association, took place in Beijing on April 21, 2013. This important gathering brought together key members and leaders to discuss the future direction and development of the association.
The meeting was chaired by Wei Hualiang, who serves as both the Vice Chairman of the China Knife Association and the Chairman of the Harbin Measuring and Cutting Tool Group. During the event, Hao Ming, Chairman of the Board and President of China National Machine Tool Corporation, provided an update on the plans for the 30th anniversary celebration of the association, which is a significant milestone in its history.
Several important decisions were made during the meeting. One notable change was the reorganization of the "Precision Solid Carbide Tool Special Committee" into the Chengdu Tool Center, while the "Heavy Tool Tool Committee" was renamed the "Super Hard Tool Committee." These changes reflect the evolving needs and strategic goals of the association. Additionally, the council reviewed and discussed the draft of the "China Knife Association Medium- and Long-Term Development Plan," laying the foundation for future growth and innovation.
In addition to these major discussions, the meeting also approved the list of advanced collectives and individuals recognized for their outstanding contributions to the association. A total of 10 member units were awarded the title of "Advanced Collective," including Henan Fenike Superhard Materials Co., Ltd. On the individual level, 30 members received the "Advanced Personal Title." The ceremony to honor these distinguished contributors will take place at the 30th anniversary event of the China Knife Association in November, marking a moment of recognition and celebration for the entire community.
