1. Shielded Twisted Pair Shielded Twisted Pairs are classified into two types based on different shielding methods, namely STP (Shielded Twicted-Pair) and FTP (Foil Twisted-Pair).

STP means that each line has a shielded twisted pair of its own shielding layer, and FTP is a shielded twisted pair with an overall shield. Note that shielding is only shielded throughout the cable, and both ends are properly grounded. It only works if it is. Therefore, it is required that the entire system be all shielded devices, including cables, sockets, crystal heads, and distribution frames, etc. At the same time, the building needs a good grounding system.

The outer layer of the shielded twisted pair cable is wrapped by aluminum mooring to reduce radiation, but it does not completely eliminate radiation. The shielded twisted pair is relatively expensive and is more difficult to install than an unshielded twisted pair cable. Similar to the coaxial cable, it must be equipped with a special connector that supports the shielding function and the corresponding mounting technology. However, it has a high transmission rate and can reach 155 Mbps within 100 meters.

The shielded wire is a transmission line that uses a braided wire to wrap the signal wire.

The conductor covered by conductors outside the conductor is called shielded wire. The wrapped conductor is called shielding layer, which is usually braided copper mesh or copper (Al). The shielding layer needs to be grounded. External interference signals can be introduced into the earth by this layer to prevent interference signals from entering. The inner conductors dry up and reduce the loss of the transmission signal.
