Specifically speaking, the first is the lack of complete hardware fastener industry standards, and the second is that the hardware fastener industry, which is an important component of the accessory parts industry, and even the positioning of the company itself are not accurate enough. International hardware fastener products have two sets of relatively independent standard systems, metric and imperial standards. The metric system is the European standard system, and is mainly based on the international ISO, European Community EN standards and French DIN standards. The American Standard, the American Standard System, is based on the ASTM, the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Standards, and the IFI Standard of the American Fastener Technology Association (the British standard is based on ASTM and SAE).

For a long time, domestic hardware fastener companies have not defined their position clearly, blindly produced, and lacked the matching and cooperation with the host companies. It can be said that the vast majority of domestic fastener companies' products are only produced in batches according to a unified standard. They do not care whether their products can meet the matching requirements of the mainframe products in the market. They are blindly pursuing their own factory volume, and thus tightening. The piece became a "universal card" fastener, but it was difficult to guarantee the mechanical stability of the host application.

Compared with foreign brand products, what we lack is the "dedicated" "dedication spirit". In the development of the hardware fastener industry, the same applies to the OEM development model. The hardware fastener production enterprises need to associate with the host company, which can be a pair. One, even one-to-many supporting production.

Recently, there is a certain gap between domestic hardware fastener industry standards and international standards. As far as the material standards for hardware fasteners are concerned, domestic product standards generally do not specify specific material steel grades and only require chemical composition requirements for mechanical performance grades. In contrast, individual US standards such as ASTM standards will Specific material steel types are specified. Because there is no corresponding steel grade in China, and it cannot be accurately docked with international standards, it will naturally bring certain difficulties to the export. Although some domestic enterprises have already begun to realize this, they have developed new steel grades stipulated in the foreign fastener standards, but this is only a small step in the progress, and international standards have yet to be promoted and improved throughout the industry.
