4. Error analysis of coordinate measurement method

When measuring the size of the center distance l between the two holes A and B on the Wangong display, the coordinates of point A and point B are generally measured according to Fig. 8, and A and B are obtained according to the following relation (Pythagorean theorem). The distance between the center of the two holes is l.

In the formula, AC and BC are the difference between the vertical and horizontal coordinate size readings of the instrument when measuring the distance between the two points A and B, respectively.

When measuring, take the maximum measurement range of vertical and horizontal scales: AC=200 mm, BC=100 mm, then AB=223.607 mm. The maximum measurement error of vertical and horizontal directions of the instrument is: ΔAC=0.004 mm, ΔBC=0.003 mm.

By substituting the above values ​​into the above formula, the measurement of the line segment l(AB) can be obtained.

In the practical application of Wangongxian, when the longitudinal and transverse guides of the instrument are not perpendicular to each other, the accuracy of the rectangular coordinate measurement will be extremely adversely affected. The effect on single-coordinate measurements (such as diameter measurements) is small and can be ignored.

The size of the center distance l between the two holes A and B is measured by the coordinate method. In Fig. 8, Ox', Oy' represent the direction of motion of the longitudinal and transverse guides; φ1, φ2 represent the skew angles of the longitudinal and transverse guides and the 90° direction; Δl 1 represents the error of l in the Ox direction; Δl 2 represents l Error in the Oy direction.
