On November 22, 2012, the China International Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction New Technology and New Products Expo kicked off grandly at the Beijing International Convention Center. Approximately 1,000 technical experts and professional visitors from key energy-consuming units, energy-saving service companies, research institutions, universities, and other organizations participated in the event. During the event, the China Energy Conservation Association organized its annual meeting and the 2012 China Energy Conservation and Low-Carbon Development Forum. Key figures from national bodies such as the National People’s Congress, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, AQSIQ, and the National Energy Administration were present to discuss the promotion of energy-saving technologies and products. They emphasized the importance of achieving tangible energy-saving outcomes and encouraged businesses to think innovatively, expand market reach, and play a proactive role in China’s energy conservation and emissions reduction efforts.
