China Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction New Technology and New Products Expo opens

On November 22, 2012, the China International Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction New Technology and New Products Expo kicked off grandly at the Beijing International Convention Center. Organized by the China Energy Conservation Association, the event received significant guidance and support from various government departments. High-ranking officials from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the China Energy Conservation Association attended the opening ceremony and took part in the activities. Fang Qing, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Energy Conservation Association, delivered an inspiring speech during the ceremony. This year's expo, themed around "Enhancing Energy Efficiency and Promoting Low-Carbon Development," highlighted cutting-edge energy-saving technologies, products, engineering projects, and achievements across industries such as industry, transportation, construction, green lighting, and daily life. Over 100 renowned enterprises, including China South Locomotive, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, Laiwu Steel, Midea, Tianzhu Energy Saving, Dunan Environment, Yaming Lighting, and Shanghai Sansi Electronics, showcased their innovative solutions. Approximately 1,000 technical experts and professional visitors from key energy-consuming units, energy-saving service companies, research institutions, universities, and other organizations participated in the event. Through exhibitions, discussions, negotiations, and collaborative opportunities, participants explored ways to implement energy-saving technologies and evaluate product performance and engineering case studies. The expo successfully facilitated partnerships and demonstrated notable progress in energy conservation initiatives. During the event, the China Energy Conservation Association organized its annual meeting and the 2012 China Energy Conservation and Low-Carbon Development Forum. Key figures from national bodies such as the National People’s Congress, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, AQSIQ, and the National Energy Administration were present to discuss the promotion of energy-saving technologies and products. They emphasized the importance of achieving tangible energy-saving outcomes and encouraged businesses to think innovatively, expand market reach, and play a proactive role in China’s energy conservation and emissions reduction efforts.
