By using scrap aluminum pieces or shavings during this period, the dissolution rate of aluminum increases significantly at higher temperatures. This method typically takes 3 to 4 hours to achieve the desired level of aluminum ion concentration.
Another option is to add aluminum powder directly to the solution. A dosage of 2 to 3 grams per liter of solution is sufficient to maintain the proper concentration of aluminum ions. Both methods help maintain consistent anodizing performance and ensure the production of high-quality oxide coatings.
It's important to monitor the solution regularly and adjust the aluminum ion levels as needed to prevent issues that could lead to uneven or defective anodic films.
