How to calculate the input amount of aluminum in hot dip galvanizing solution?

Tests have shown that 0.02% aluminum is sufficient in the zinc dipping solution. However, in actual production, if aluminum is added to the zinc solution at this ratio, the desired effect cannot be obtained. As a result, it was found that the loss of aluminum was caused by the following reasons: First, part of the aluminum added to the zinc liquid and the oxygen in the air on the surface of the zinc liquid formed aluminum trioxide (A12O3); second, there was a part of aluminum and solvent ammonium chloride, Contact with zinc chloride produced aluminum chloride (AlCl.) which began to sublime at 178°C. These two reasons consume most of the aluminum, in order to reach 0.02% in zinc. Aluminum must be added 9 to 10 times the aluminum, that is, according to 0.2% aluminum to achieve the purpose.
