Cement Plant Plate Feeder Operation and Maintenance Procedures


1. Purpose:
In order to ensure the normal use of the plate feeder in the production process, the equipment is designed to safely and reliably meet the process requirements.
2 Scope of application:
This procedure is applicable to the use and maintenance management of the plate feeder of the limestone production line in a cement plant.
3 plate feeder operation
3.1 Empty starter plate feeder, running smoothly before feeding.
3.2 Before stopping the machine, the feeding device shall be closed first, and the material can be shut down after the material is conveyed. Generally, it is not allowed to fully stop the machine. In case of sudden emergency full load shutdown and then start. It must be moved several times, or the amount of material in the machine trough should be excluded, and then start up.
3.3 The feed should be even and continuous, and it must not be suddenly added in large quantities to prevent clogging or overloading.
3.4 When an abnormal situation is found, immediately close the feeding device, and then stop. After the fault is removed, the operation can be continued.
3.5 In the course of operation, iron pieces, large pieces of hard objects, etc. should be strictly prevented from being mixed into the conveying mechanism so as not to damage the conveyor or cause other accidents.
3.6 The operator should always observe the running condition of the conveyor, find out that the scraper is deformed or dropped off, and the open pin seat or falling off and the serious abrasion of the scraper chain should be promptly repaired or replaced.
3.7 The tightening device should be adjusted regularly to keep the chain of the chain machine properly tightened. When adjusting, the screws on both sides can move evenly and the nuts must be locked after adjustment.
4 Maintenance and Care
4.1 Keep the working environment, equipment clean, and regularly wipe the equipment.
4.2 If no structure is found, the bolts in each part are loose and they are immediately disposed of to prevent the accident from expanding.
4.3 After the first 20 days of use, the reducer must be replaced with a new oil, and it should be replaced in the next three months, using 46# general-purpose mechanical gear oil.
4.4 The oil in the oil pump must be maintained at 2/3 or more and clean.
4.5 Lubrication parts should be well lubricated. The "five set" system should be implemented to lubricate the equipment:
4.6 After the normal operation of the equipment, open the chain with lubricating oil, and control the amount of oil in the dripping state to lubricate the chain belt.
5 equipment check
5.1 Always inspect the joints of the various components, know that the joints are to be tightly coupled, no gaps are allowed, and the head sprocket and the tail sprocket should be in a straight line.
5.2 Frequent inspections, structural parts, and weld joints shall not be deformed and have open welding.
5.3 Always check whether the rollers are on the same plane and keep the chain running smoothly. Do not run away, and do not allow any cards or bumps on both sides of the machine.
5.4 Check whether the rotation of the low-speed shaft and the head wheel of the drive unit is on the same axis, and the parallel deviation must not exceed 1/100mm.
5.5 Check the direction of operation of the chain is in line with the specified direction. When entering the front wheel, the teeth are properly engaged. When leaving the front wheel, no chain skipping occurs.
5.6 The temperature rise of each bearing is greater than 40°C (the temperature does not exceed 65°C). The lubrication seal is good.
5.7 The speed reducer does not leak oil, no abnormal sound, electrical equipment, coupling safety and reliability, no-load running noise does not exceed 85 decibels.
