1. Low solid-melting temperature or insufficient holding time

2. The cooling rate is not enough when quenching

3. The transfer time of the wheel from the furnace to the quenching tank is too long, exceeding 15 seconds;

4. The aging temperature is too low or the holding time is not enough;

5. When the solution temperature is too high or the holding time is too long, the low-melting point eutectic at the junction of the alloy grain boundaries begins to melt, and a liquid phase appears. Under the action of surface tension, the liquid phase shrinks into agglomerates, spheres, or polygons. The remelted material, when severely burned, will show banded and ring-shaped remelts on all grain boundaries, and even nodule on the wheel surface. When the overfired structure occurs, the mechanical properties of the alloy drop dramatically and cannot be remedied.
