Analyze the security door lock core consumers do not be the manufacturer's hoe

Recently, @Zhejiang Public Security and @PeaceHangzhou on Weibo shared a post that highlights how to identify the security level of a door lock. The first example is the common cross-shaped lock, still widely used on many doors. For a skilled thief, using simple tools like wires and aluminum foil, this type of lock can be easily picked in under a minute. In April of this year, 32 burglary cases in Weihai City sparked widespread public concern. After investigation, it was revealed that all these incidents involved technical unlocking. Thieves used tools such as "tweezing paper" to bypass the locks successfully. Many of the stolen homes had basic locks with either "A" or "cross" shaped keys—locks that are considered low security. Currently, door lock cores are mainly categorized into A, B, and super B grades. A-class and B-class locks typically use a marble structure, which makes them less secure. According to national standards, they can be opened in just 1 to 5 minutes. In contrast, super B-grade locks feature a large blade design and high-security keys, making them resistant to technical opening for over 260 minutes. However, some manufacturers claim to offer "C-class" locks, but there is no official standard for C-class locks in China—these are mostly marketing tactics. It's worth noting that even the current super B-grade lock has been upgraded. Modern high-security locks now include anti-tampering and anti-idling designs, making it nearly impossible for thieves to start picking them. When paired with reinforced panels, even amateur burglars would struggle to make progress. Most security doors installed in buildings still use A-grade locks. Experts advise the public to consider upgrading to super B-grade locks for better protection. When choosing a security door, it's important to understand the key features. Steel doors, metal doors, and entrance doors available on the market may not meet true security standards. According to regulations, security doors are classified into A, B, and C levels. A genuine security door must pass tests from authorized agencies and carry a security product production permit issued by provincial public security departments. The main factor in a security door’s anti-theft performance is the key and lock system. A qualified security door usually comes with a three-point locking mechanism, ensuring that not only the main lock but also the upper and lower parts of the door are secured. This additional layer of protection significantly improves the door’s resistance to forced entry.
