The first solar micro-cinema was introduced in the UK

From the perspective of power consumption, going to a movie theater is not an eco-friendly move. According to reports, the solar micro-cinema is conceived by the British art charity group and is jointly produced by three artists. Its birth was aimed at bringing the concept of environmental protection to the world.

The solar-powered cinema is installed in a 1960s-style caravan that can accommodate up to 8 spectators at a time. The cinema’s power source relies entirely on 120W solar panels to charge four lithium-ion batteries. Even during the movie playing process, solar panels will continue to absorb solar energy. Even if there is a rainy day with insufficient sunshine, the cinema will not interrupt the electricity during the screening process.

It is commendable that most of the items inside the mini-cinema are made from recycled materials. In addition, a large number of environmental themed comedies, music videos, and documents are stored in the cinema library.
